What do you love about Bethel?
I love the people who attend Bethel. They love well and serve generously. I have also never met such loyal people in my life. They are loyal to the community and to one another.
Why are you working as our Youth Coordinator?
Attending Bethel Youth as a young teen changed my life. I was welcomed into a little family that was warm, kind, and so fun. I jumped at the chance to lead the youth ministry when it came around. My thought was “if I can do even half of what youth did for me, I got to do it”. My “why” for this job will always be because I want to create a safe place where students can come as there are to be loved as they are. I love Jesus and I want students to know that there is a God who not only sees them but loves them unconditionally.
Where do you see God working in your life?
Recently, I have been noticing God calling me to surrender. Surender plans and worries. That I am not in this life alone. Jesus is calling me to trust Him and what He has in store for me and the world around me. That in the chaos Jesus is still good and still faithful.
What makes you laugh the most?
Watching animals eat is so funny (especially racoons, pandas, and monkeys). Slow Mo dog videos of them running also can get a good laugh out of me. Other than animals, my friends and I love to laugh and poke fun at one another.
